Privacy Policy

Sympt does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal or health data to us or any third party. Your data stays on your device. We never see it.
Data Storage
All health data you enter into Sympt — including symptoms, medications, meals, pain logs, medical visits, and reports — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database technology. No data is sent to our servers because we do not operate any servers.
iCloud Backup
If you choose to enable iCloud backup in Sympt's settings, your data is synced to your personal Apple iCloud account. This is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud account or any data stored within it.
Apple Watch
If you use the Sympt Apple Watch companion app, data is transferred directly between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication happens locally between your paired devices. No data passes through our systems.
Data We Collect
None. Specifically:
- We do not collect personal information
- We do not collect health or medical data
- We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
- We do not collect device identifiers
- We do not use tracking or advertising frameworks
- We do not use cookies
- We do not share data with third parties
Third-Party Services
Sympt does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.
On-Device Intelligence
On supported devices, Sympt may use Apple's on-device machine learning to generate report summaries. This processing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to Apple or any other party for this purpose.
Data Deletion
You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings within the app. This permanently removes all data from your device and Apple Watch. Since we never had access to your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Children's Privacy
Sympt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes.
